Happy Christmas

On Christmas Eve we made some yummy sugar cookies! Don't worry, we didn't leave the ones Ella rolled out, licked and handled out for Santa;)


Then we opened our jammers, made pizza and watched the Lion King!


I was ready at 4:12 to open presents but Mike told me to go back to sleep. At 6 I wanted to wake up the kids but again Mike told me to go back to sleep. Finally around 6:45 Ella excitedly came in our room and said "My castle is here!", and the rest is history. (Especially since Ella threw up two times on the way home from grandpa and grandma Savages!)

A Bonnie!

You can't just say Bonnie at our house, its A Bonnie and then Ella will usually say "No, it's baby Bonnie." Anyways, Bonnie came for a visit and we had a good time:

26 Weeks...

I am 26 weeks today! My ankles, legs and fingers are swollen, my new bedtime is 8:30and the other night I had lunch with Oprah! (In my dreams.) The little fella is moving like crazy and I love to feek how strong he is getting. We are getting excited for our blue baby brother to join our family! (Ella thinks the baby is coming out blue just like Megamind.)

Lately Ella is really into helping:) Her favorite is making chocolate crinkles and rolling the cookie dough in the powder sugar. Last weekend Mike and Ella made monkey bread. It was delish!


One of our favorite family shows is "the funny show", a.k.a Americas Funniest Videos. Every Sunday night the kids look forward to watching it!


Christmas break officially started today! No big plans for us this Holiday Break! Ella said last night was the Best Day Ever after playing in the newly fallen snow with Jackson and Mike last night. I can't wait to watch the kids as they open their presents Christmas morning. To be honest I have always been the first one awake on Christmas morning. Since I have had kids, I am still the first awake only now it's in anticipation for the kids excitement and awe of this magical morning. I am sure this year will be no different!
