Our Thanksgiving Week

Last week we had a great Thanksgiving week. Mike had the whole week off and it was fantastic! We didn't do one thing, just hung out and enjoyed each other:) Jackson and Ella were playing a fun catch game and I was thinking to myself how much I loved them playing happily together when Ella said to me, "Mom, I like playing with Jackson!". I loved that! Jackson was upset yesterday morning about something and Ella said, "Hey! You are hurting my brother!" I (ususally) love the relationship those two have.

Since my dad was put in as the ICA President they needed a family picture for a magazine spread they are doing on him. Savanah took this photo and I am shocked at how good it turned out! Everyone looking and smiling without a live person behind the camera commanding! (It was on a timer) Jackson was in a super good mood and in every picture we took he cheesed it up.

You better bet I did a little shopping on Friday. And boy did I get some screaming deals! Friday, we also put up our Christmas tree and Ella is awaiting the presents Santa is bringing. We explained to her about Santa and how he sends elves to check if all the kids are being nice. Ella now tells everyone about the "owls" looking in her window and at the mention of them checking on her she is super good:)

Jackson had a homework assignment about the season he was born in and I just love the way his page looks!

Today is back to our everyday routine. Ella and I were really sad to have Mike and Jackson go back to work and school. When I asked Ella if she was going to be good today she said, "Um....Probably."
